Precision Spectroscopy of Highly Charged Ions Group

Brief Introduction

Our research group is dedicated to cutting-edge experimental research on precision spectroscopy of highly charged ions, based on two major national large-scale scientific facilities: the Heavy Ion Research Facility in Lanzhou (HIRFL) and the High Intensity heavy-ion Accelerator Facility (HIAF). We are building an innovative team focused on precision spectroscopy experiments and theoretical studies of highly charged ions in extreme environments.

The team currently consists of 2 Professors, 3 Young Research Fellows, and 3 Associate Professors, forming a well-structured and dynamic group. Our members have led or undertaken numerous national key research tasks, including projects under the National Key R&D Program, Key Programs and Major Research Plans of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), and the Strategic Priority Research Program of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Our research has resulted in over 100 SCI-indexed publications, including papers in top-tier journals such as Physical Review Letters (PRL).

International Collaboration: We maintain close collaborative ties with leading research institutions worldwide, including GSI, MPIK (Germany), Saint Petersburg State University (Russia), as well as domestic partners like Fudan University and the University of Science and Technology of China. Through these strong partnerships, we engage in joint research and co-supervise graduate students.
