Abstract:  

 Low energy cosmic rays (LECRs) plays an important role in the star forming and astrochemistry process, however, the measurements of LECRs in different environment of our Galaxy are still missing. In this talk I will introduce the idea of measuring the LECR by using the MeV nuclear de-excitation lines formed in the inelastic scattering of LECRs with ambient atomic nuclei, and discuss the prospect of future spaceborne MeV gamma-ray detectors.
