The 4th international workshop on nuclear dynamics in heavy-ion reactions will be held on August 15-19, 2014 in Lanzhou, China. This workshop will be hosted by Institute of Modern Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and sponsored by the Institute of Modern Physics, Shanghai Institute of Applied Physics, Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Beijing Normal University.

The purpose of this workshop is to provide a common forum for the international community of nuclear dynamics to present and discuss their latest research progress in both experiment and theory. About more than twenty attendees from Russia, France, Korea, Italy, Japan, Germany, USA, as well as China are going to participate in the workshop. The Scope of the workshop covers:

  •  Heavy-Ion Nuclear Reaction Dynamics and Isospin Effects
  •  Symmetry Energy in Nuclear Matter and Neutron Stars
  •  Phase Transitions in Strongly Interacting Matter
  •  Reaction Dynamics for Super heavy Elements and Weakly Bound Nuclei
  • Nuclear dynamics induced by protons (anti-protons) and mesons
  • Nuclear Astrophysics

The most recent workshops took place in Beijing (2007), Shanghai (2009) and Shenzhen (2012). For further information about the workshop, please visit the website of the workshop at
