Korean Delegation of China Technology Survey Visited IMP
Delegates from Korean Institute for Basic Science (IBS) and government visited the Institute of Modern Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IMP) on November 1st, 2012 in Lanzhou.
The delegation, headed up by Dr. Sun-KeeKim, the director of Rare Isotope Science Project (RISP) at the IBS, comprises the first Counselor Science and Technology of Korean Embassy in China, the chief representative of Korea-China Science and Technology Cooperation Center and other five members from the IBS and Ministry of education, science and technology of Korea as well.
Professor Guoqing Xiao, who is the Director General of IMP extended a warm welcome to delegates and gave a comprehensive overview of IMP with emphases on the Physics Accelerator device, heavy ion radiotherapy, and ADS (Accelerator Driven system) project.
