Experimental installations for atomic physics research at HIRFL in Lanzhou

Two reaction microscopes in Lanzhou (ReMiLa) compose the workhorse for investigation of ultrafast collision dynamics at intermediate collision energy at experimental hall after cyclotrons (SFC and SSC) and high energy at CSRe. Two electron coolers are equipped at cooler storage ring main (CSRm) and experiment (CSRe) and are functioned for dielectronic recombination (DR) experiments. The internal target area is updated, and movable target setups for x-ray spectroscopy and nuclear reaction are installed, and the ReMiLa @ internal target is soon ready for collision dynamics. In addition, there are low energy facilities which can provide HCIs for APEX collaboration, 320 kV platform for multidisciplinary research with highly charged ions, low energy acceleration facility (LEAF), electron beam ion source (EBIS) for ultralow energy studies, ultrafast XUV laser system, precision laser system, LIBS, MOT, and electron-molecule/cluster collision setup.
